CONGRATS to all three seniors for making the KVAC All Academic Team! Charlotte McGreevy graduated as our Class of 2026 Salutatorian and Maya Stone and Karly Putansu graduated Summa Cum Laude- truly impressive!

BIG Congrats to Charlotte McGreevy and Thea Laukka for making KVAC first team 🎉🎉🎉

Charlotte and Thea are both ending the season with batting averages over .500, have demonstrated great work on the mound as pitchers, and have reliable, near perfect, gloves on the field. Way to go Char and Thea!

We are so proud of players and appreciate that they are great students in the classroom, stellar atheltes on the field, and awesome teammates in the dugout! GO JAMMERS, GO!

Congrats to Maya Stone on an amazing four year run at Camden Hills Regional High School and Camden Hills Regional High School Athletics Maya has played softball since she was 4. Maya also plays on Maine Thunder a travel team out of Portland where she has won two National Championships. Maya is a left handed pitcher and first baseman and has been a four year varsity starter, named to KVAC first and second teams and the Maine All Star Team each year. Maya’s happy place is on the mound and she leaves big cleats to fill. While missing more than a month of her senior season has been a huge set back, Maya is scrapping her way back on the field in time for senior night. Maya is graduating Summa Cum Laude and will be heading to Endicott College in the fall to study Sports Management and Business and playing softball for the Endicott Gulls! Go Maya & Go Gulls!

Congrats to Karly Putansu on an amazing four years Camden Hills Regional High School and Camden Hills Regional High School Athletics. Karly has played baseball since she was 5, later moving to softball, which we love! Karly is a four year varsity starter and also plays for a local travel team, MidCoast Breeze. Karly has been the teams primary catcher for the all four years and also plays 3rd base. She is considering walking on to try out for softball at Endicott College where she will be studying Exercise Science/Athletic Training. Karly is also graduating Summa Cum Laude! Karly is known as a steadfast, team oriented player, who will be leaving big cleats to fill behind the plate! Karly good luck in your future adventures! Go Karly & Go Gulls!

SENIOR FEATURE- CLASS OF 2026
Congrats to Charlotte on an amazing four years, two with Oxford Hills (winning two Northern Maine Regional titles) and two seasons with CHILLS. Charlotte has played since she was 8 years old and also plays travel ball for Maine Thunder out of Portland and has won two National Championships! Charlotte is a four year varsity starter and Maine All-Star team member each year she's been in high school, leaving big cleats to fill. She plays first base and pitches and will be playing softball next year at Colby College where she plans to study Biology and Neuroscience! Charlotte is also our Camden Hills Regional High School 2026 Salutatorian!! We have truly enjoyed having Charlotte as a Jammer and we wish her the best in all of the adventures that lie ahead! Go Char and Go Mules!

Camden Hills Varsity Windjammers Defeats Mt. Ararat Varsity Eagles On Back Of Clutch Display From Adriana Pedro

Adriana Pedro drove in four runs on three hits to lead Camden Hills Varsity Windjammers past Mt. Ararat Varsity Eagles 11-3 on Wednesday at 68 Eagles Way. Pedro singled in the fifth scoring two, singled in the first scoring one, and hit a solo home run to center field in the sixth scoring one.

Camden Hills Varsity Windjammers won thanks in part to seven runs in the fifth inning. Karly Putansu drew a walk, scoring one run, Pedro singled, scoring two runs, Molly Odwyer singled, scoring one run, Catherine Leadbetter grounded out, scoring two runs, and Alanna Smith singled, scoring one run.

Camden Hills Varsity Windjammers got on the board in the top of the first inning after Putansu grounded out, and Pedro singled to center field, each scoring one run.

Camden Hills Varsity Windjammers scored one run in the top of the third on a solo home run to left field by Thea Laukka.

Pedro hit a solo home run to center field in the top of the sixth for the Camden Hills Varsity Windjammers.

Charlotte McGreevy earned the win for Camden Hills Varsity Windjammers. The starting pitcher gave up eight hits and three runs (two earned) over seven innings, striking out eight and walking two.

Camden Hills Varsity Windjammers piled up 11 hits in the game. Laukka and Pedro each collected three hits for Camden Hills Varsity Windjammers. Brooklyn Rollins and Smith each collected multiple hits for Camden Hills Varsity Windjammers. Camden Hills Varsity Windjammers turned one double play in the game.

It came down to the wire on Tuesday at 275 Keelson Drive, as Camden Hills Varsity Windjammers grabbed the victory in walk-off fashion, 4-3, over Skowhegan Varsity Riverhawks. The game was tied at three in the bottom of the eighth when an error scored one run.

Camden Hills Varsity Windjammers jumped out to the lead in the bottom of the third inning after Charlotte McGreevy doubled, scoring two runs, and Adriana Pedro lined out, scoring one run.

Skowhegan Varsity Riverhawks tied the game up in the top of the seventh.

McGreevy earned the win for Camden Hills Varsity Windjammers. The pitcher allowed two hits and two runs (one earned) over two innings, striking out one and walking one. Thea Laukka started in the circle for Camden Hills Varsity Windjammers. The hurler surrendered four hits and one run (zero earned) over six innings, striking out three and walking three.

McGreevy led Camden Hills Varsity Windjammers with two runs batted in. The first baseman went 2-for-4 on the day. Camden Hills Varsity Windjammers turned one double play in the game.

⚾️⚾️Camden Hills Varsity BASEBALL Windjammers Captures Lead Late In Victory Over Skowhegan

Camden Hills Varsity Windjammers snatched the lead late in their 8-7 victory over Skowhegan on Tuesday. The game was tied at seven in the bottom of the sixth when an error scored one run.

Camden Hills Varsity Windjammers came back to win despite trailing 5-1 in the second.

Camden Hills Varsity Windjammers were the first to get on the board in the first when Jake Perez singled, scoring one run.

Skowhegan flipped the game on its head in the top of the second, scoring five runs on four hits to take the lead, 5-1. The biggest blow in the inning was a single by Trevor Austin that drove in two.

In the bottom of the sixth inning, Camden Hills Varsity Windjammers went back into the lead after Cole Hedrich doubled to left field, Tucker Whitley doubled down the left field line, and Skowhegan committed an error, each scoring one run.

Brian Leonard started the game for Camden Hills Varsity Windjammers. The hurler gave up six hits and six runs (five earned) over four and two-thirds innings, striking out 10 and walking six. Jason Aubin started the game for Skowhegan. The hurler gave up four hits and five runs (three earned) over three and one-third innings, striking out five and walking four. Charlie Leonard appeared in relief for Camden Hills Varsity Windjammers.

Ezra Miller led Camden Hills Varsity Windjammers with two runs batted in. The outfielder went 1-for-3 on the day. Perez went 2-for-4 at the plate to lead Camden Hills Varsity Windjammers in hits. Carter Campbell paced Camden Hills Varsity Windjammers with two walks. Overall, the team had patience at the plate, accumulating six walks for the game. Camden Hills Varsity Windjammers turned one double play in the game.

Aubin and Blake Kenyon each collected two hits for Skowhegan. Austin and Kenyon each drove in two runs for Skowhegan. Nathan Wills led Skowhegan with three walks. Overall, the team had a strong eye at the plate, piling up six walks for the game.

Camden Hills Varsity Windjammers will travel to Mt. Ararat for their next game on Wednesday.
