☀️Spring Break Kickoff 1-Day Tournament ☀️

While our bats were a little quiet, the defense shined bright and the team energy was 🔥.

✨ Leighton #2 – Amazing catch in center field and got it to third for a double play! Heads-up defense at its finest.

🔥 Taylor #24 – Rocked it behind the plate with clutch stops and a pop-up foul ball catch that kept us in the game.

💥 Brinley #14 – Smoked a double to score three runs and help secure Game 2! Big-time hit when it mattered most.

Back to practice this week — these girls are always hungry to sharpen skills, clean things up, and keep growing together.

The Derrick Dolls 10U show up ready to compete!

4th PLACE FINISH in our first tournament of the season is something to celebrate! Every single one of these girls left everything on the field. They competed hard, played with heart, and most importantly — they played as a TEAM.
These girls were constantly pumping each other up, cheering louder than the competition, and fighting for every single out, run, and play. That team energy is what made this weekend special!

⚡️ Emmersyn #10 — NOT ONE, but TWO in-the-park home runs this weekend!! She turned on the jets, put pressure on defenses, and changed momentum with big-time plays at the plate!

🔥 Taylor #24 — CAME IN CLUTCH with an in-the-park home run to seal the win in our third bracket game! She stayed locked in and delivered. Ice. Cold. Finish!

💪 Julia #13 — DEALT in the circle with 10 strikeouts to help keep us win our first bracket game and give our offense a chance to work. Pitching under pressure and competing every pitch!

We learned from our mistakes this weekend and showed flashes of how good this team can be when everything clicks. Now it’s back to work this week in practice — because this group is always hungry to get better, clean things up, and keep growing together.

The future is bright for the Derrick Dolls!
