Blaque Eyed Affair #007

I was a member of Balsam Mountain Roller Girls. I skated with the team from the end of September 2011 til the end of March 2012. I was there for the start of BMRG and am sooo looking forward to seeing them in their first Bout/Scrimmage and many more to follow. I know first hand these ladies are Fierce! I fought in the first *Foxy Boxing* R.O.R Ring Sports that was held at REO's Night Club in Waynesville, NC. I "split" the Championship Title, the $200 bux and I lost the Title Belt over a coin toss. I walked into REO's on February 17, 2012 to recruit girls for Roller Derby and watch the first *Foxy Boxy* event held in Haywood County presented by R.O.R. Ring Sports. I was asked to fight due to most of the girls dropping out when it came down to the actual event. I entered the event and fought 12 rounds between 3 girls. It was such an experience for me because I have no boxing history, except for the occasional bar fight, street fight, school scrap and boxing on the WII LOL I loved the rush and the fact that I can still hold my own. For a 33 year old over weight mother of two I did pretty damn Awesome and I will again one day fight for the Championship, Title Belt, the $200 bux and most definitely for the rush, Respect and the 15 min of Fame! LOL
