Some scenes from today’s tourney down in Grand isle!! Thank you to all who helped today, and a special thanks to all of those who fished with us. Two Day Championship in Venice in October…it doesn’t get any better than that!!

Congratulations to Jeff Rogers and George Kendrick!! They took home Big Fish for $900.00 as well as Calcutta for $500.00 along with $3650.00 for first Place totaling $5050.00. Congrats and a huge thank you to all the teams that fished today!! We had a ball seeing ya’ll!! Enjoy the win fellas!! Y’all earned it!!

Okay guys, hope yall are getting ready for this weekend at Bridge Side Marina on beautiful Grand Isle!!
Captains Meeting: Friday August 7th 6pm under their pavilion. $250 cash only registration. Registration starts at 5pm.

Saturday, August 8th…Blastoff at safe light.

Weigh in will open at 2pm, and close at 4pm.

We are humbled by the turnout we have had these past two tournaments. We appreciate the excitement and hope to see all ya’ll Friday night.
Last I checked Grand Isle was pretty booked as far as rooms to stay go, but Fourchon Marina has openings in their hotel.

If an angler has not fished with us this year, a $50 non refundable angler membership is required…

Side Note:
We apologize for cutting off online registration last Thursday night but Louisiana Past a law that disallows Debit card fees. I could not get a straight answer from Go Daddy, our processor, so we opted to err on the side of caution on the 31st. We will have something figured out by the championship in Venice in October.
We will have Jambalaya ( not da red kind ) and sodas for the anglers upon their return.

We are aware that some of the numbers posted by Redfish World Championship and us are a little skewed…lol…I’ll be fixing it this weekend and getting the correct totals to you guys…thanks and sorry for the hiccup!!

⚡️⚡️⚡️Attention LRTS Anglers!!⚡️⚡️⚡️
TWO BIG THINGS!!!

1) Registration will close on July 31st for the August 8th Tournament. After this date, cash only at the Captain’s Meeting….
P.s. laws concerning credit card charges in Louisiana effective August 1st are dictating this..comment if you have any questions…

2) The Redfish World Championship will be extending 11 invites to their championship from our series. They will use a points system for 10 of the invites. They are assigning 100 points to each tournament winner, and 99 for 2nd place, etc. Points will be tallied from all LRTS events held this year, including our championship. The winner of our Louisiana Redfish Classic out of Venice Marina in October will also receive an invite. We thank the Redfish World Championship for this collaboration, and look forward to rooting on our anglers at the event in 2027.
There have been two tournaments so far with some fishing one and some fishing both. So the field is wide open. Our Tournament in Grand Isle as well as our championship in Venice will be critical in obtaining the points needed to qualify for this invite!!! Let’s go guys!! See y’all in August!!!
