What it is:
A quality seal for classes designed to enhance balance and prevent falls.
Awarded by the Safe Communities of Madison-Dane County, ensuring classes meet research-based standards for balance improvement.

How it works:
Evaluation: Community classes (e.g., Yoga, Tai Chi, Dance) are reviewed against set criteria.
Logo Use: Approved classes can display the BSOA logo in their promotions.
Goal: To make it easy for seniors to find reliable programs that help them stay steady and independent.

Get Movin’ in Motion

A gentle exercise program for every fitness level. Our previous exercise programs Get Movin’ and Men in Motion were combined to be an exercise class for both men and women. Attendance is always free!

Classes are held live on Zoom and in person at UW South Madison Partnership with Johnny Winston. In-person location: 2238 South Park Street, Madison, WI 53713

Fit and Fun! A free exercise class for older adults 55+ on Thursdays at 11am-12noon at Mt. Zion Baptist Church located at 2019 Fisher Street in Madison, WI.
