Marion Road Gun Club provides a safe, friendly and helpful environment for shooters to pursue their sport in the Macon and Middle Georgia area. Our club has a diverse membership that enjoys a wide variety of individual and organized shooting activities. We emphasize that applicants DO NOT need to be sponsored by an existing member. Membership at MRGC is NOT based on who you know, how you look or w

hat you shoot. The membership process begins when you submit your application. We meet at 7:00pm on the third Tuesday of each month at the American Legion Post 3 on Thomaston Road in Macon, Georgia. A wide variety of shooting competitions are held on a monthly basis. Check out our web site for scheduled matches. Never shot in a competition before? It's lots of fun and you'll meet a lot of friendly people doing so. Come on out and shoot!! Our fee schedule and requirements are most reasonable. Applicants must pass a background check ($20), pay a $100 Initiation Fee and regular annual dues. Our annual dues are as follows:

Adults - $200 per year
Junior (under 18 years - $20 per year

Five competitors battled out against evasive wicked bowling pins😋 on a sunny morning. Dale took 1st on bowling pin alley, with Brett in 2nd and Chuck in 3rd. Brett took first place in bowling pin alley, with Dale taking
2nd and, and Riley (youth) taking 3rd. Brett beat out Dale on the shoot out, taking 1st overall with Dale taking 2nd. Riley took first in the youth division 😊. An overall fun day at MRGC!

Stairs to the 100 yard R***e Range from the parking lot are being replaced 8/24 - 8/26, 2026. You may drive your vehicle onto the range to load and unload (check to make sure a cease fire is active) during these three days. Thank you.

Attached are the results of the 8 Aug r***e matches. We had 7 shooters out in the heat Saturday, a nice summer day for shooting.

Next match is Sept 12. First shots 0900. Several folks will be exercising their Ma**ers. If you have a Ma**er of any generation, come out and give them a challenge. Otherwise, come out and shoot!

You do NOT have to be a member to participate, and spectators are always welcome (with eye and ear protection)!
