It was a tough weekend for the Shock as we played up in a 12U tournament.

No excuses—we expected to compete and expected more from ourselves. Unfortunately, we weren’t at the top of our game and finished 0-2 in pool play.

Mother Nature had other plans on Sunday, and the rain robbed us of the opportunity to show the resilience and bounce-back mentality that this team has displayed all season long.

We’ll learn from it, get back to work, and be ready for the next challenge.

These girls really played their hearts out today against some very good competition, and we couldn’t be more proud of the way they competed all weekend.

What stands out most isn’t the wins or the hardware—it’s how they played for each other. They battled through adversity, picked each other up, stayed positive, and never stopped competing.

Another second-place finish, and while we’re still chasing that championship, this team continues to prove that they’re moving in the right direction. The growth, toughness, and teamwork they showed this weekend were something special to watch.
