Our Maverick boys closed out the Anarchy in Armada tournament with a win on Sunday evening! The Mavs started the weekend out slow but ended it strong and are learning some valuable lessons heading into our final two tournaments of the year! Regardless, the boys battled through a long weekend and everyone is so proud seeing the progression these boys are making on and off the field!

TOURNAMENT GAMEDAY! The Mavericks will start the Anarchy in Armada tournament today with a triple header! This will be a test for the Mavs as it’ll be a long day at the ballpark but they’re ready for it! All games today are at Armada HS Varsity Softball Field. Game times as following:

8:00 AM vs Garden City Cougars 8U
10:00 AM vs Armada Tigers 8U

The Mavericks did not get to complete the Ernie Winston tournament in Marysville this weekend due to inclement weather. The boys stuck through some rain on day two but the league was unable to finish the bracket. They were definitely disappointed their weekend was over but this just means they’ll be ready to come back even stronger next weekend in Armada! We’re proud of these boys keeping their heads up through their first machine pitch tournament which took an adjustment from everyone. Thank you all of Mavs family for sticking through not ideal weather to cheer on these boys! The work everyone puts in from the field all the way to the sidelines never goes unnoticed and it really makes this team like a family! 💙💛
