Trusting God's Plan
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” — Jeremiah 29:11
Life often feels uncertain. Plans fall apart, doors close, and we may wonder if God truly sees where we are. Yet Jeremiah 29:11 reminds us that God is never uncertain about our future. Even when we cannot see the path ahead, He already knows it.
When these words were spoken, the people of Israel were living in exile—far from home and facing hardship. Their situation did not look hopeful. But God reminded them that their story was not finished. His plans were still unfolding, even in the middle of their struggle.
This verse teaches us an important truth: God’s plans are not always immediate, but they are always intentional. What we see as delays or disappointments may actually be God shaping us, strengthening our faith, and preparing us for what is ahead.
Hope in God is not based on perfect circumstances. It is based on His faithful character. When we trust Him, we can move forward with confidence, knowing that our future is held securely in His hands.
Today, if you feel uncertain or discouraged, remember that God sees the whole picture. His plans for you are good, full of hope, and filled with purpose.
