The girls battled through four tough games and finished the day 3-1, showing grit, determination, and resilience every inning.

✅ Defeated Lady Warriors OG 12U — 4-3
✅ Defeated Eagles Elite 12U — 4-1
✅2nd Seed in the Gold Bracket
✅ Defeated Wake Forest Misfits 12U — 7-6
❌ Fell to Knockouts-Beckham 12U — 1-5
✅Runner Up Gold Bracket

The team found ways to win close games, fought through pressure situations, and never quit competing. From clutch hits to strong defensive plays, every player contributed to an impressive day on the field.

Finishing the day with a 15-8-1 season record, these girls continue to prove that hard work, teamwork, and heart can carry them through any challenge.

Proud of this group for battling all day long in the heat! The wins were earned, the lessons were learned, and the work continues. On to the next one! 💪🥎🖤❤️

These girls showed what heart, grit, and teamwork really look like this weekend. Battling the heat, fighting through every inning, and leaving everything on the field, Maroon Crush MMXIV went 4-2 and came just 2 runs short of a championship game appearance. That scoreboard doesn’t define the toughness, growth, and determination this team showed all weekend long.

Congratulations to Maroon Crush 2K13 & Maroon Crush MMXIV, These two teams competed yesterday in Greensboro, NC in a Perfect Game event. Both teams went 2-0 in pool play. MC MMXIV entered the gold bracket as the 2 seed and MC 2K13 entered the bracket in the 4 seed. Both teams battled to the Gold Bracket Championship game that was a barn burner through 5 innings. (4-2) In the top of the 6th, MC 2K13 opened it up and pulled ahead to secure the win! Great day to both of these teams who had an Amazing day!
