🏀❤️ Happy Father’s Day to all of our SGD dads!
Today we celebrate the fathers, grandfathers, stepdads, and father figures who show up every single weekend. The ones in the stands cheering, clapping, traveling, encouraging, and supporting not only their own child, but every kid wearing SGD across their chest.

A special Happy Father’s Day goes to Coach Donnie Landers and Michael Williams. Thank you both for the countless hours, late nights, early mornings, practices, tournaments, phone calls, and the investment you make in these young athletes. Your impact goes far beyond basketball. You’re helping build confidence, character, discipline, and young men who know what it means to work hard and be part of a family.

SGD is more than a team—it’s a village, and these dads are a huge part of what makes the DAWGPOUND special.

Thank you for showing up, speaking life into these kids, and proving that being present matters. Your influence reaches far beyond the scoreboard.

Dog Pound Family,

We are starting to spotlight these young men and women that are putting in that work in the Lab. Our first spotlight belongs to M***a Sheriff. One of our new up and coming Dawgs. M***a is getting it done on the court with his grit, hustling, and banging in the paint. Not only that, M***a is getting it done in the classroom also which is most important. This is his first year with SGD ELITE, and he is showing that he belongs with this pack of Dawgs. Congratulate M***a on SGD’s first player spotlight. Stay tuned for the next player spotlight.

🔥🏀 SGD ELITE HIT THE ROAD TO JAX! 🏀🔥

This weekend was all about growth, competition, and making memories as our 6th Grade and 7th/8th Grade squads headed to Jacksonville for a weekend full of basketball and fun!

Our 6th graders stepped onto the tournament stage for the very first time, and while the scoreboard didn't fall our way, these young Dawgs never backed down. They competed hard, stayed in the fight, and showed the heart, grit, and determination that will help build something special. Every game was a lesson, every possession was experience, and every minute on the floor made them better.

Our 7th/8th Grade squad came ready to battle. Game 1 was an absolute dogfight that went all the way to overtime, with our boys coming up just short in a 59-56 thriller. Instead of hanging their heads, they responded the way competitors do—by coming back stronger. In Game 2, SGD Elite showed their toughness, fought through adversity, and earned a hard-fought 48-43 victory! 💪🔥

Wins and losses are part of the journey, but what makes us proud is the effort, resilience, and brotherhood these boys continue to show every time they step on the court.

The job isn't finished.

Tomorrow we lace them up again, get back to work, and continue chasing greatness. Thank you to all the parents, families, and supporters who continue to believe in and support these young athletes.
