💪🧡 LUCAS YOUTH WRESTLING MAKES A STATEMENT AT THE DANVILLE INVITATIONAL! 🧡💪

What a day for Lucas Youth Wrestling at the Danville Invitational Tournament! Our wrestlers showed incredible heart, determination, and resilience from the first whistle to the last match — and the results speak for themselves.

Lucas brought home an outstanding:
🥇 5 First Place Champions
🥈 3 Second Place Finishers
🥉 4 Third Place Finishers
🏅 3 Fourth Place Finishers

Because of the grit and relentless effort of every wrestler on this team, Lucas proudly earned 2nd place overall as a team — an incredible accomplishment against tough competition.

What makes this even more impressive is how these kids competed. They wrestled with confidence. They fought through adversity. They refused to quit. Every single athlete stepped onto the mat ready to represent Lucas with pride, and they did exactly that. The toughness, discipline, and heart this group continues to show is something truly special — and something our entire community can be proud of.

A huge THANK YOU to our dedicated coaching staff. The countless hours you invest in these athletes does not go unnoticed. You are building not just better wrestlers, but stronger, more confident young people. Your leadership is shaping the future of this program.

And to our wrestlers — you earned this. Your hard work in the practice room is showing on the mat. You are proving that Lucas Youth Wrestling is a force to be reckoned with.

“Back the Mat” is a fundraiser for their youth wrestling program. All funds raised will be used to provide equipment, and build the program, etc for Lucas Youth Wrestlers. Two ways to sponsor:

1️⃣Effort Sponsorship (one-time donation, any amount welcomed)- Supporters may give a one-time donation in recognition of a wrestler’s:
•Effort
•Sportsmanship
•Commitment to their team

2️⃣ Performance Sponsorship (stat-based)- supporters pledge any $ amount based on a wrestler’s season stats. Example: $5 per win, plus $1 for each pin. (Each wrestler will have approximately 15-20 matches this season, so keep that in mind)
The following stats will be tracked and could be sponsored:

•Takedowns
•escapes
•reversals

🐻🧡🖤 Wrapping up 2025 the BEST way! 🖤🧡🐻

The final group we photographed in 2025 was the Lucas Cubs Youth Wrestling Team, and they were an absolute blast to work with! 💪🤼‍♂️ After wrapping up make-ups on Sunday, we’re excited to officially present the 2025–2026 Lucas youth wrestling Team Photo!

Orders are already off to the lab, and we can’t wait for families to get their photos back soon. Thank you to the Cubs wrestlers, coaches, and families for a great season and a fun finish to the year!

Pewee Cubs wrestling practice schedule:

Little Cubs Wrestling- K-3rd grade. Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:00 to 7:00.

Cubs Wrestling- specified 3rd and 4 - 6th grade. Tuesdays and Thursdays 7:00 to 8:00, and starting December 12th, every Friday from 6:00 to 8:00.

Today is the last day of open mats for the K-6th grade open mats/wrestling sign ups! The season will begin in December!

Amazing day for the little cubs program, 29 kids showed up of all ages and experience levels, next open mat is going to be Thursday the 20th for any of those that want to come in and try it out!

The only way to get good at it is to get after it!
