Say hello to Coach Michael! 👋

Coach Michael’s coaching philosophy is simple: let the players think, learn, and problem-solve on the field. He believes some of the best growth happens when players are empowered to make decisions and figure things out for themselves during the game.

His soccer journey began at just 7 years old with the Lubbock Soccer Association before continuing his playing career as a club player with Lonestar SC. His passion for the game eventually led him into coaching in 2012. In 2020, he joined FC Dallas as a coach before continuing his journey as a coach with Sting.

When he’s not on the soccer field, family comes first. Spending time with his loved ones has always been important, especially since the arrival of his son, Sebastian. Coach Michael is also the husband of Coach Nicollette, who you will spot coaching for Sting too!

In his free time, you’ll find Coach Michael listening to music and podcasts, watching sports or squeezing in a little video game time whenever he gets the chance.

We’re excited to have Coach Michael leading and developing our players this year! 💙💪⚽️

From hard-fought games and big wins to team bonding, community service, and unforgettable memories, this group showed what it truly means to be a team on and off the field. The growth, grit, and brotherhood built this season is something to be proud of.

So proud of the effort, character, and commitment these boys brought every single day. This season was filled with moments we’ll always remember, and we’re excited for all that’s still to come for this team! ⚽️
