CK Customs CK Customs has one goal, build rods that fit the angler for the angler.

I’m a software engineer and avid angler who began building custom rods for myself and now I’m excited to make them for anyone who wants a setup built just for them.

🎣 **Come see CK Customs at Bash at the Barn!** 🎭

I’ll have a vendor booth set up at Bash at the Barn this Saturday, September 26, from 10 AM–4 PM at the Shadow Barons Mardi Gras Float Barn in Daphne.

I’ll have plenty of CK Customs handmade soft plastic baits available, including inshore-focused colors and styles for redfish, speckled trout, flounder, and maybe some Mardi Gras inspired baits.

I’ll also be bringing some of my custom fishing rod builds so you can see the work in person. If you’ve been thinking about having a rod built, I’ll have:

• Finished rod examples
• Several blank options to check out
• Guides, reel seats, grips, and other components on hand to demo
• One-on-one **custom rod build consultations**

We can talk through exactly what you fish for, the techniques you use, your preferred reel, budget, and what you want out of the rod—and start putting together a build specifically for you.

Come by, check out the baits, handle some custom rods, and talk fishing with me!

This bait continues to impress me over and over again with each use. Before today I couldn't say I've landed an inshore slam using a single bait profile in a single color. The Bay Twitcher put on a performance this morning with a total fish count of: 4 flounder all from the same hole, like they had a vendetta against the bait, 2 redfish, several speckled trout and several white trout. Rigged simply with a jighead and a fast overly aggressive retrieve just flips a switch in these fish to feed.

New PB for the books!

Had lost two in a row on bad hook sets. There was not going to be a 3rd!

Let me hear your thoughts on this color recipe!

If your kayak hull doesn't look like a soft plastic graveyard did you even go fishing?
