Slow evening on the water with Drew Giles, testing out a few CK Customs baits.

The bite wasn’t hot, but we did manage to prove one thing: at least one white trout approves of the shrimp imitation in the color I have dubbed "Midnight Banshee".

Early testing is all about getting baits in the water, seeing how they move, and learning what the fish think.

CK Custom Baits is still in the very early stages of development and testing, but we’re excited to start sharing the process.
