HUGE DAY for the Surry Reel Legends Fishing Team! 🏆🎣

At NC High School Bassmaster Tournament #4 on Lake Norman, the Surry Reel Legends made a big statement in the Junior Division (Middle School) by taking 1st AND 2nd place!

🥇 1st Place – Shep Draughn & Zayden Carson
They brought in an impressive 12.87 lb bag, anchored by the Middle School Big Fish of the tournament — a 4.88 lb bass caught by Shep!

🥈 2nd Place – Bentley Browder & Jansen Jarrell
Right behind them with a strong 11.87 lb bag.

This tournament marked the third event ever for the Surry Reel Legends Fishing Team and the first time we’ve had multiple teams competing, making this accomplishment even more special.

We want to give a huge THANK YOU to all of our sponsors, boat captains, parents, and community supporters who make opportunities like this possible for these young anglers. Your support means everything to our team.

Good morning from Lake Norman! 🎣

Today the Surry Reel Legends Fishing Team is competing in Tournament #4 of the NC High School & Junior Series, and we are excited to have three teams representing Surry County on the water. This is the first time our program has had three teams entered in a tournament, and we couldn’t be more proud of these anglers.

We want to give a huge thank you to our sponsors, boat captains, parents, and supporters who make opportunities like this possible for our kids. Your support helps these young anglers learn, compete, and represent our community the right way.
