Today was the day we’ve been waiting for. Precision wrestling and all the kids who have taken time to put work in throughout the off seasons joined together and finally took home first place! We went 8-0 on the day, Steven cross beat a VA state champ 18-1, Max and Javen both avenged a loss, Steven, Grady, Isaac, and Xavier all went 8-0 and the rest of the kids kicked tail throughout the day to help the team go undefeated! We beat a very tough HWC team in the finals with a 25-20 win. This is what the sport is all about, growing kids and watching them learn from one another, teach one another and facilitating an environment for them to grow. I love this sport and these kids are all like family. I can’t wait for the next big dual!

How about that! 8-1 and silver pool champions!! Today precision beat Kentucky, Georgia, Ohio, Florida and was able to hold off a very tough Florida elite and Dayton Ohio team to win the bracket! I’m so proud of these kids and the growth they show, the lessons learned, the new people we meet and watching 11 NC kids. 1 Ga, 1 FL, 1 TN kid take on some of the best in the country and watch the sport grow in the process. I’m living my best life watching kids grow in this sport. Thank you everyone who showed up and showed out. You are all champions and make it all worth the hard work. I can’t wait to see you all continue making noise on the big stage. We made noise this weekend!
