This is Peyton 🏀💗

Peyton was an honorary member of the Louisville Lynx this season. She was too old to officially join the team, but that didn’t stop her from becoming part of the family.

This winter, Peyton decided she wanted to try basketball for the first time. After playing spring rec ball, she realized she had some work to do—and she set a goal: make her middle school basketball team.

So she humbled herself, trained alongside girls a couple years younger than her, learned the game from scratch, and showed up day after day ready to work. And she did it all knowing she wouldn’t get to play in our games.

Yesterday, after her tryouts, Peyton found out.....

SHE MADE THE TEAM! 🎉🏀

We could not be more proud of her.

This is exactly why we started the Louisville Lynx.

Not to be the best.
Not to be the most competitive.
Not to win every game.

But to give kids who are willing to work hard a place to learn, grow, build confidence, and chase their goals.

Peyton is proof that you don't have to start out great—you just have to be willing to work.

🏆 Generation Jam Results Are In! 🏀💙🩷

The first-ever Generation Jam: Moms vs. Daughters is officially in the books, and the Louisville Lynx came away with the victory, defeating the moms 28–20! 🎉

The moms put up a great fight, but the Lynx proved that all those practices paid off! Thank you to all of the moms who stepped on the court and made this such a fun event, and thank you to everyone who came out to cheer, laugh, and support our girls. We can't wait to make Generation Jam an annual Louisville Lynx tradition!

Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, the tournament we were scheduled to participate in had to cancel our division. But instead of taking the weekend off, we're turning it into something special!

🏀 Tournament Recap 🏀

Another tournament weekend down for the Louisville Lynx.

In a short amount of time, these girls have made tremendous strides. Their confidence is growing.

Every game, they fought with everything they had. They never backed down, never quit, and continued battling until the final whistle. If there's one thing this group has in abundance, it's heart. That kind of effort can't be taught, and it's something every one of these girls should be proud of.

Unfortunately, we also lost one of our players to an injury this weekend. We're all thinking about her and wishing her a speedy recovery. Your Lynx family is behind you, and we can't wait to see you back on the court when you're healthy.

Today we want to recognize and thank all of the dads, grandfathers, stepdads, and father figures who make youth sports possible.

Thank you for the early mornings, late nights, long drives, endless encouragement, and unwavering support you give your athletes. Whether you're in the stands cheering, helping at practice, volunteering behind the scenes, or simply being there when your daughter needs you most, your impact goes far beyond the basketball court.

The confidence, work ethic, and determination our players show every day are built on the foundation of love and support they receive at home.

From all of us at the Louisville Lynx, thank you for everything you do.
