Louisville Post 914 Freebirds didn’t have quite the outcome we hoped for today losing both opening day games at home. Harrisburg Post 167 and Carrier Mills Post 364 came into town with a lot of experience. However, your home team put up a good effort and we identified some opportunities to work on. The weather held off just enough for the three games to be played. Thanks again to Krazy Sweet Treats for their support today with great food and generous donation.

Thank you to the umpires, Lee Wiley and Barry Douthart, for calling all games fairly and keeping the crowd morale high.

Louisville American Legion Post 914 appreciates the attendance and support for Legion Baseball.

Clay County, Big things going on this weekend!

Friday and Saturday the North Clay Cardinals will play baseball in Champaign in the State Tournament with our very own Chase Bangert.

Gage Dugan will play in the ISBCA All-Star Game representing the Flora Wolves.

And here at home, in the County seat at the Louisville Ball Park will be your American Legion Post 914 Freebirds in our opening weekend.

We will be playing Harrisburg at 12:00 and Carrier Mills at 4:00. They will play each other at 2:00. We have concessions open and in high roller fashion we have the one and only Krazy Sweet Treats serving up their very best.

Come for the opening, come for a game, or come for the treats!

Big thank you to our sponsors for Saturday, Zink Building Center and Wabash Communications CO-OP! Each player will get a free drink and candy from the concessions!
