G***k 17 Gen 4 vs. Stealth Arms Platypus — which pistol comes out on top? 🎯

We put these two 9mm pistols through three shooting challenges: steel targets, a watermelon showdown, and a final windshield challenge with an unexpected twist.

Can the custom Platypus beat the familiar G***k 17? Or will speed, accuracy, and the shooter behind the trigger make the difference?

Expect friendly competition, missed shots, and plenty of trash talk. No excuses. Just results.

Which team are you on — Team G***k or Team Platypus?

A snub nose revolver looks simple, but shooting one well is not as easy as people think. In this video, we break down what makes the S&W Model 36 harder to control, why grip matters so much, and how trigger pull can change everything with a .38 Special revolver. We also compare old-school revolver feel to smoother Performance Center-style guns, and why smaller shooters or new revolver owners may notice the trigger more than expected. If you carry a concealed carry revolver, like J-frame revolvers, or want to know if a .38 Special still makes sense today, this is worth watching before you judge the old wheel gun.

The SIG P320 9mm with a Romeo1 red dot gets put to a simple range test against a Coca-Cola 2-liter bottle. But this video is really about more than one shot. Is the SIG P320 still one of the best beginner 9mm handguns, or does the G***k still make more sense for the money? I break down how this pistol shoots, why the red dot helps, what the price looks like, and whether this setup is worth paying close to $1,000 for. If you are looking for your first handgun, a reliable range gun, or a red-dot pistol for everyday carry practice, this is one SIG P320 review you’ll want to watch before buying.

We tested the .410 and 20-gauge sh****ns for home defense, and the results may surprise you. The Re*****on Ultimate Defense 000 buckshot had a solid pattern, the .410 had way less recoil, and the 20 gauge brought more kick and muzzle rise than expected. But when you compare buckshot, birdshot, recoil, shot placement, and follow-up shots, one setup starts to make more sense. Before you choose a .410, 20 gauge, or 12 gauge for home defense, watch this range test.

Is the 1911 still one of the safest EDC pistols you can carry? After carrying this platform for nearly 29 years, I keep coming back to its thin profile, five-inch barrel, clear sight picture, and two familiar safety systems. In this video, I explain how the 1911 thumb safety and grip safety work together, what “cocked and locked” really means, and why muscle memory matters when carrying a 1911 for everyday defense. The fi***rm shown is unloaded and clear. Watch before deciding whether a full-size 1911 still belongs in your concealed carry rotation.

My .308 was sighted at 100 yards without the can, but at about 45 yards with the suppressor on, the hits started landing low. Was it suppressor point of impact shift, barrel harmonics, pressure, or just a zero I need to confirm? In this range clip, I walk through what I saw with the M1A1 .308 and the AR-10 hunting r***e setup, why suppressed vs unsuppressed can change where your rounds land, and what I need to test next before I trust that r***e again. If you run a r***e suppressor, hunt with an AR-10, or wonder if a silencer affects accuracy, this one is worth watching before your next range day.

Does a cold shower actually stop pepper spray from burning—or can regular soap make it worse? After taking a direct hit of OC spray, he spent nearly 40 minutes under cold water and tested Dove soap on the affected skin. The results were not what we expected. Watch the full pepper spray recovery test to see how long the burning lasted, which symptoms disappeared first, and what happened when soap was applied to the exposed area. This is the part of pepper spray self-defense that most people never think about until it is too late.

Is the S&W 627 really worth $1,400, or does a classic 5-shot .38 Special revolver still make more sense for carry? In this video, we compare the big 8-shot .357 Magnum N-frame revolver to a smaller carry-style wheel gun and talk trigger pull, size, capacity, recoil, concealment, and real-world use. The 627 gives you more rounds and a smoother feel, but it also brings more weight, more bulk, and fewer holster options. If you’ve ever wondered whether an 8-shot revolver is worth it over a simple .38 carry gun, this is the comparison you need to see.

MP5K vs MP5 comes down to size, handling, barrel length, and what you actually grab first. The full-size MP5 gives you more barrel, better stability, and a little more confidence on target, but the MP5K has that compact backpack gun feel that makes it hard to beat. In this video, I break down why I keep choosing the K model, where the standard MP5 still has the edge, and which one makes more sense after running both side by side.

What happens when a 12 gauge r***ed slug hits a curved car windshield before reaching a ballistics dummy? We fired through the front windshield of a Toyota Corolla from 25 feet to test sh***un slug pe*******on, accuracy, point of aim versus point of impact, and bullet expansion. The windshield may have slowed the slug, but the final impact and recovered projectile were still impressive. Watch the complete 12 gauge windshield test to see whether the glass deflected the shot and how far the r***ed slug penetrated.
