Bluegrass Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Open

Bluegrass Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Open Next event will be May 9th, 2015. Chartered in 1998, the BBJJO has been providing the Midwest with its best run BJJ tournament for well over a decade.

The BBJJO is one of the oldest continuously run BJJ tournaments in America. The last 15 years, the Bluegrass has seen some of the best competitors in the Midwest. They are drawn by its reputation for being the most professional and friendly tournament in the region. Competitors can expect a well organized event, friendly staff, professional referees, timely matches, and quality 3.5" medals awarded

on our prestigious podium. Recent events have been primarily organized around a round robin format, providing competitors guaranteed matches, win or lose, while insuring a fair bracket. For the most competitive in attendance at our June 15th Round Robin, ALL adult ABSOLUTE divisions will be awarding cash purses to the winners! Black Belt $500, Brown Belt $400, Purple Belt $300, Blue Belt $200, and White Belt $100. (You must win your round robin division to be eligible.) We look forward to making the BBJJO your favorite BJJ tournament.

Great turnout yesterday at the Bluegrass Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Open! Thank you to all the refs, table workers, and mat movers. Not to mention all the competitors who had the courage to step onto the mats and compete. Great matches, great energy!
