As a mom, it's not always easy to watch your kids work so hard and then get hit with something completely unexpected.

Many of you know my daughter, Taylar. She currently serves as Louisville's Constitution Ambassador and spends countless hours volunteering in our community. On top of that, she works, attends school full-time, and is pursuing her dream of becoming a nurse.

This week, her car suffered a major mechanical failure, leaving her without reliable transportation.

If you know Taylar, you know she isn't someone who asks for help. She's the kind of person who shows up for others, gives back whenever she can, and works incredibly hard for everything she has. She balances school, work, volunteer commitments, family, and even manages daily challenges from scoliosis with determination and grace.

I'm so proud of the young woman she has become.

As her mom, I'm asking for help on her behalf. We're hoping to raise enough money to help her purchase a dependable used vehicle so she can continue getting to work, attending classes, serving our community, and pursuing her nursing degree.
