Lyndon Lightning Sample 11U Beat BC Cougars 11U

Lyndon Lightning Sample 11U were victorious against BC Cougars 11U 8-4 on Saturday.

Lyndon Lightning Sample 11U jumped out to the lead in the top of the first inning after Simon C hit a sacrifice fly, scoring one run, and Luca S doubled, scoring two runs.

A single by Elias C extended the Lyndon Lightning Sample 11U lead to 4-1 in the top of the second inning.

A sacrifice fly by Luca extended the Lyndon Lightning Sample 11U lead to 5-2 in the top of the third inning.

Aaron H earned the win for Lyndon Lightning Sample 11U. The right-handed pitcher allowed five hits and four runs over five innings, striking out four and walking five. Elijah H took the loss for BC Cougars 11U. The starting pitcher went two innings, surrendering five runs on four hits, striking out two and walking four.

Lyndon Lightning Sample 11U collected 11 hits in the game. Luca provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led Lyndon Lightning Sample 11U with three runs batted in. They went 1-for-2 on the day. Antonio S collected three hits in three at bats, as Lyndon Lightning Sample 11U defeated Louisville Knights 11U 22-4 on Saturday at 176 Park View Ave.

What a weekend for the Lyndon Lightning Sample 11U team! ⚡️⚾️ Our players showed incredible skill, team spirit, and determination at the New Albany tournament. After four intense games, we're thrilled to come home with a ring to kick off the season! 🏆 Each player has made us proud, and we're excited to see how far their passion and hard work will take them. A huge thank you to our coaches, families, and fans for your support.
