You might be training hard… but still training WRONG
If you’re trying to build muscle, these 3 mistakes could be holding you back:

- Ego lifting

Maxing out every machine doesn’t mean you’re training harder.
Lower the weight, control the movement, remove momentum and actually make the target muscle do the work.
Your muscles don’t know how impressive the number on the stack looks.

- Doing way too much volume

Spending 2+ hours in the gym isn’t automatically better.
After enough hard sets, the quality of your training starts dropping.
You usually don’t need 5–6 different exercises for the same muscle in one session.
Focus on fewer exercises, better ex*****on and higher-quality sets.

- Skipping your warm-up

A proper warm-up isn’t just about injury prevention.
It prepares you to actually perform.
Better stability.
Better technique.
Better strength.

Stop guessing how many reps you need to build muscle
If you’re training hard and getting close enough to failure, you can build muscle across a pretty wide range of reps.

But for most people, a great place to start is:

→ 2–4 hard sets per exercise
→ 6–15 reps for most of your training
→ Choose a weight that makes the last few reps genuinely challenging
→ If you’re new to an exercise, start lighter, master the movement, then progressively increase the weight

Lower reps will improve your strength
Higher reps can improve muscular endurance and blood flow

Both can build muscle.

The goal isn’t to find the “perfect” number of reps — it’s to train hard, use good form, and progressively get stronger over time.

Save this for your next workout
And send it to someone who still thinks 4 sets of 10 reps is the ONLY way to grow.

Getting in shape doesn’t need to be complicated.

If you’re skinny, skinny-fat, or just starting your fitness journey, focus on these 3 things:

1️⃣ Train at least 3x per week
Train your whole body, focus on good technique and progressively get stronger over time.

2️⃣ Eat enough protein + fuel your training
Aim for around 2g of protein per kg of bodyweight, eat enough carbs to perform in the gym, and don’t neglect healthy fats.

3️⃣ Prioritize sleep & recovery
Training gives your body the signal to build muscle. Recovery is when the actual adaptation happens.

You don’t need the perfect workout plan.
