After robbing everyone on board, he demanded to jump out using his own makeshift parachute. The crew forced the plane to descend. When the hijacker tried to bail, a flight attendant literally had to push him out the door.

His parachute failed. He died on impact. The plane landed safely with every other passenger unharmed.
