I am a former Ayahuasquera and a psychedelics expert, working with people to prepare for and integrate the most profound altered spaces. I’m not downplaying the beauty of one on one healing, but there is no replacing the communal experience. Our ancestors had sacred tribal rituals that brought so much connection and humanness into their daily lives. We have lost most of that in our hyper-independence and isolation. This causes great suffering. This is why I only work with Ay*huasca in community - to be seen, held, and witness by each other is absolutely priceless.

Repost from - As someone moving through another intense dark night of the soul, I’m in the reality of this perspective right now. We can be raw and real in our own humanness, receiving support from ourselves and others as we heal, while still providing a safe and loving place for others to do the same. It requires integrity and commitment. Not perfection :)

True story. I had been working with Aya and MamaCoc@ to feel empowered to speak more truth, and for the first time ever, my teacher asked me to sing in ceremony. LIterally one of the most terrifying and humbling moments EVER. But I lived to tell the tale :)

Capitalism has become a disease. I remember Aya told me once - why don’t you guys create a trophy for people who make $100M dollars saying they won capitalism, and every penny they make going forward goes to charity? She has a point. Our game of Monopoly has no end game, and it’s hurting *everyone*.

Earlier this year, my soul-kitty Prana crossed the rainbow bridge. I ache for him every day. I dream about him all the time. But he sent this being of light to help ease my broken heart. This majestic creature is Renaquilla, aka the Moon Queen.
She is full blood Maine C**n, sass to the max, an Aries to her core, and an absolute joy to share life with.
It's a beautiful thing to have part of my heart in shambles from grief and loss, and part of my heart in joyful celebration to have a new precious love.
Holding multiple emotional states concurrently is a superpower Ay@huasca taught me. I'm eternally grateful I didn't have to wait for my heart to mend to fall in love again.❤️

Remembering how I loathed and criticized my body almost every day of my younger life, and now watching her carry us through a traumatic yet powerfully transformative surgery and aftermath - losing an organ is finally doing what plant medicines have tried to help me achieve for decades.
I am in awe and genuine love for the skin I'm in. May each of us know this kind of sincere appreciation and adoration for our miraculous vessels.
