Does this leg extension exercise I am doing for physical therapy look boring? I think so. BUT…then I focus on ONLY using my quads, my core, drawing up through the pelvic floor, my breath, relaxing my upper body, avoiding using my hip flexors and STILL realize I need a tweak to avoid the “pop” I feel at full knee extension. So…I add VMO/adductor engagement with my opposite hand and THEN, only THEN is everything working correctly in this movement pattern.
