It's the Official Team USA Fencing Memes 10th Anniversary!

And now I present to you my very first homemade video!

I know the usual "It's very important " meme involves two songs, but the sound clip normally used was too short for my purposes. So I chose one of the songs, one with lyrical themes of time and remembrance, and ran with it.

Most of all, I want to thank everybody who has been part of my Meme Queen journey. Y'all are why I do it. Thank you for your support!

Team USA Fencing Memes 10th Anniversary Celebration continues with Risible Referee's!

1. Alex Gioiella is a longtime meme fan, and Biscuit is adorable, so I figured it was time they had a meme of their own.

2. Despite providing magnificent meme material, still will not let me tag him. Maybe it's a Board of Directors thing.

3. Not sure who this fellow is, but he definitely stands out in a crowd.

Team USA Fencing Memes 10th Anniversary Celebration continues with Funny Foil Coaches!

1. I think this was at a World Cup in Bonn. Traditionally, USA Men's Foil celebrates victories in Boon at Burger King, because it's the only place open that late.

2. This was taken at a Cairo World Cup, but I posted the meme at the Cairo World Championships later that season.

3. I need to meme Dan Kellner more often....

4. Pan-American Zonals in Lima 2024. First time I've seen any coach with the hood on.

5. A good coach defends his athletes like a good lawyer defends his clients.

6. Note the score. But it's still wholesome.

7. It's not often that you run into somebody who not just provides great meme material, but also loves being memed. A person like that can lift a memer up. So the memer should definitely lift that person up.

Team USA Fencing Memes 10th Anniversary Celebration continues with Funny Foilists!

1. Lee is always fun to meme. And she's the one who named me the "Meme Queen ", so it's win-win.

2. One of the biggest revelations lately has been the rise of Bryce Louie. Not only is he an excellent fencer, but he's an equally talented content creator. If you're a Fencing fan and you're not following his IG feed ( .louie ), I have to ask - why the hell not?

3. The USA Women's Foil Team are trendsetters on and off the piste.

4. Speaking of fashion...

5. For some reason, my Assistant Editor doesn't quite "get" this one.

6. From the Paris Olympic photo shoot. To be fair, I would not be surprised if he dropped a mixtape at some point.

7. These two pics were right next to each other at a training camp before Worlds in (I think) Leipzig. Some memes just write themselves.

Team USA Fencing Memes 10th Anniversary Celebration continues with Silly Sabre Coaches!

1. New York's most prestigious Sabre club becomes New York's most prestigious entertainers. Who knew?

2. The man. The myth. The Morehouse.

3. It wasn't enough for Cyrus of Chaos to just be King of Fencing Media. No, he had to transition into coaching and make a name for himself there, too.

4. Coach Achiko is definitely earning his place amongst the greats.

5. Speaking of greats, Maestro Arkady is definitely up there. (I think this pic was from an online conference, but I posted it for the Super Bowl.)

6. Does anybody else miss The Yury and Zoran Show? The shenanigans those two used to get up to were legendary.

7. Aleks Ochoki at 2023 Worlds. The way he's been going, I think he'll be needing quite a lot of spinach going forward...

Team USA Fencing Memes 10th Anniversary Celebration continues with Silly Sabreuers and Sabreuses!

1. Don't you think this bouncing thing has gotten out of hand?

2. They look more bored than intimidated.

3. One ref (pretty sure it was ) said she would actually respect that question if a fencer asked it. Good to see that.

4. A December NAC Final. Hey, Daryl got a chuckle out of it!

5. Maia went full Targaryen for the Paris Olympics.

6. One of my coworkers actually came up with this caption. And it fits beautifully.
