The Stingers ended up with three placers today at regionals. Bo Ellis placed 4th, Alison Meves placed 2nd, and Liam Munson placed 2nd. We also had two wrestlers that wrestled tough but did not place Bryson Lowrance and Will Sego. We are still of them all for their efforts this season. Bo and Alison Will compete in Sectionals next weekend.

As we wrap up this season and get ready for the state series I can’t express enough how impressed I am with these young wrestlers. This four month long journey has been nothing less than a grind through which these kids battled. Tough matches and practices week after week and all the while knowing they will be back in the gym the next week ready for more. They did not win every match but they worked hard, came to learn and had great attitudes. That is all a coach can ask for in an athlete. I am so proud of these wrestlers for everything they have accomplished this season and can’t wait to see what they will do in the future as they move onto bigger and better things. I want to say thank you to the parents. We appreciate your help, your time and your support. We know it is not easy to juggle all the things in life and then get the wrestlers to practice and tournaments also so thank you. Finally I want to thank the coaches for taking time away from your families to help continue the growth of our sport. we could not have had a season without your efforts. You can do anything you want with your time and you choose to spend it in a gym every week helping teach wrestling moves. Your sacrifices do not go unnoticed.
