Eric Carr Jeet Kune Do 2nd Generation Bruce Lee instructor under an original Bruce Lee Student, Jerry Poteet. Senior instru Eric speaks fluent Mandarin Chinese and German.

Trained in classical Wing chun at an early age, his gift and passion for the martial arts and spiritual studies led Eric to the fateful meeting of Sifu Jerry Poteet in 2001. Eric started his Jeet Kune Do training privately with Sifu Poteet, one among the Elite 5 students of the legendary martial artist Bruce Lee. natown as well as privately in Bruce’s home where the two became close friends. Jerry Poteet has passed on one of the most revered art forms to Eric, untainted in form and philosophy. Just as he learned, Eric teaches the art of Jeet Kune Do exacting upon the teachings of Bruce Lee. Martial imminence and philosophical passions led Eric to the Taoist monasteries in mainland China and he continues to exercise Taoist Qi Gong, traditional Tai Chi, Ba Gua Zhan, Taoist sword forms, Taoist Feng Shui and studies Chinese medicine with a Taoist priest and physician. Eric has also trained at a length with the Shaolin Monks, and in direct Ip Man lineage Wing Chun kung fu under the leading instructor trained by the illustrious Wong Shun Leung. Wong Shun Leung is one of Bruce Lee’s senior classmates and close friend during Bruce's years growing up in Hong Kong. Eric's teachings are based on his dedication to the most influential and inspirational Bruce Lee, his teacher Jerry Poteet, and all martial arts. The privilege of having trained with Sifu Poteet in learning the most intimate knowledge of Jeet Kune Do makes Eric Carr a sanctioned living progeny.

Here's another shot with Geo on the left, and Mario on the right. I've had the pleasure of training everyone in this photo. Geo and I put in a lot of work on the ground. He's got a ton of knowledge and understands the mission. Geo also lives in Lancaster, and I'm just gonna say that DJ and Geo make a fantastic team. I'm excited for the future of their school and their fighters.

Today was a proud moment. One of my main guys had his grand opening of his new facility in lancaster, california. The place where I started in life. The place i'm from. I have a lot of hard memories in that city, but this is a good one.

DJ started with me in February 2019, worked his ass off, became an instructor, and is training the next generation of JKD fighters. Friday, march 29th, joined forces for another amateur fight, in Anaheim. Let's take home some more wins!
