BF Esencia De Mexico Ballet Folklorico Esencia De Mexico is a Division of MEXICO MODERNO formerly Chuchin Dance Company.

The Ballet Folklórico Esencia de Mexico was recently created under the direction of founder, Jesus "Chuchin" Mejia. Who currently is the founder and Artistic Director of Mexico Moderno a Contemporary Mexican Folk Adult Dance Group. Esencia de Mexico was inspired by the love in dance seen in the eyes of a group of young girls. As this group learned about Mexican folkloric dance, they felt the need

to continue learning more of Mexico’s rich heritage. With this, Esencia de Mexico's mission is to inspire the younger generations by giving them the opportunity to learn about their heritage of dance and music while engaging in a fun and healthy activity. Esencia de Mexico is open for all between the ages of 4 - 16 who are interested in learning the beauty of Mexican Folk Dance.
