After the rain, comes a rainbow 🌈

That is exactly how I’m feeling, can you see it in my eyes?

This weekend I fell into a portal, maybe it was that 9/9 portal? 🤔

My body was not feeling great and I had very low energy. My mind had other plans for my weekend that included having a pool day with my friend and spending time with my family.

I surrendered and let my body rest. In the past, I would get so angry with myself or the circumstances and say the most negative things. About how I was wasting the day or not being productive. This time, I chose to be gentle and kind to myself. I listened to my body and gave it what it needed.

With that, instead of hearing so much negativity brewing up inside me, I stayed quiet and so much medicine come through. It almost feels as if I’m in the new iteration of Fabiola.

With already feeling today refreshed, rejuvenated, and ready to take on the world again, my schedule by surprise cleared up today! 🤯 The most perfect combination 😏

I brought myself to my fav coffee shop to be on a sexy ass date with my biz 🔥

My fav part of this date is hanging out inside my online digital home base. In fact, this post is bring written inside my Content Calendar 📆

Whats great is that I can go back to old written posts and copy any important data for my SM posts.

Finished a bunch of errands today 😍 Feeling soooo gewdddd to have so much done 😏✔️

You ever get that feeling when you get a lot of adulting done!? 🤤

Went and got my eye exam, took my car in to the auto shop, etc.

There were a few things l needed to note down in my phone throughout the day. Instead of stashing it randomly in my iPhone notes, emailing it to myself, texting it to myself, or putting it God knows where in my phone, I put the information in my personal doc system inside Notion. 😊

Y’all, this is just so clutch!! Especially if you’re on the go often, get yourself organized on Notion!! (Notion is a productivity & project management tool)

When we save everything randomly, we waste time later looking endlessly in our devices for our information. 🥴 Or worse, we forget about the brilliant ideas we typed up or the restaurants and places we want to visit. 🙄

🌟 Coming off cloud 9! ✨

What a magical week I had in Chicago, surrounded by the warmth of my loved ones. From unforgettable moments with family to laughter-filled reunions with friends, my heart is overflowing with gratitude. Life, it can feel so beautiful and dreamy in one sec, and then in another, it can get us like 🥴. I won't deny that life has thrown some challenging moments my way these past few months.

But here's what I've learned – life is all about embracing transformation and riding the waves of change. And you know what? I have the power to lead the way! 🌊✨ — && it’s always easier said then done bcz in those moments you can feel like 🙄 umm no I can’t. I was having lunch outside on my balcony

Exchanging texts with a friend

They asked for a photo of me, so I snapped this

They said, wow, are you at a rooftop having fine dining?

I said no

This is when it hit me, I am eating at home enjoying a yummy sammich that I made with love 🤤 outside, under the sun, with views of the canyons and in company of the most bluehost skies ever 😍💫🤭

I am taking this beautiful moment for granted

Once upon a time you dreamed of this

It’s so easy to take for granted what we have, let alone what we have everyday 🙃

Reminding myself to really hone in on the appreciation with what life and God has given me in this moment 🧘‍♀️

Reminding myself that if I don’t appreciate what I have and I only focus on what I want next….I will be in the illusion of being in a bottomless pit 🥴 Being there doesn’t feel free

We’re officially starting 5th month of the year to 2023 in a couple weeks….

Someone pump the brakes? It feels like 2023 just started 😂

An important lesson I learned from a previous yogi teacher...

At the beginning of my yogi journey, I opened up to my yoga instructor with so much frustration. I said:

“I can’t do these poses, it’s so hard for me and it seems so easy to everyone else”🥵

What she told me next forever changed me.

She said:

"Fabiola you have no idea how long that person has been practicing on that mat. You don’t know if this is their first try, second try, or 100th try. We are all on our own yoga mats and this is why it’s so important to stay focused on your own mat" 🤯💫🤯💫🤯

(Forever grateful for this gem 🙏🤍✨)

Fast forward to today….. this is a favorite story that I love to share with clients. We all can get frustrated that even with our efforts we aren’t getting results but Susie is slaying away, at the end we are all on our own yoga mat 🤪💫🤯💫🤪💫🤯

We all are on our own path.

It’s so easy to look outside of us and let our ego/subconscious compare.

The minute we step into the lens of comparison…. we are narrowing D O W N our mind.

Today has felt so unreal

I had a session today with my first ever Therapist

It’s been about 10 years and wow

I sat there talking to to him and felt so lit up

He said “it’s so nice to finally see you smile”

As he said that I looked back and remembered the Fabiola that had first met him

She was not there, at all.

You know when you meet people who aren’t really there?

They’re lost and in so much despair

I was that person

He diagnosed me with PTSD

Being in my early 20s and hearing this shook my world

I thought life felt like this for everyone

Truth is, in my teens, I never thought I’d make it into adulthood

Then I did and I was so lost

Lost in people

Lost on the dance floor

Thankfully, one day, something inside wanted me to seek “help”

Coming from a culture where getting help is known for “crazies”, I’m so glad that I did

I also had a friend guide me for whom I’ve forever grateful

He said try therapy before you see a psychiatrist

I did and that’s when I met Mark

When I met Mark I had no self love, I had no confidence, no sense of self, and I thought deep down that I was a bad person

It took a lot of work with Mark to undo the brainwashing

Now fast forward to now, I am not a representative of my past

My past does not define me

The moment that I chose to stop living those old stories little by little, little by little my world started to change

Change is such a funny thing bcz it can happen in an instant, overnight, months, years, or sometimes 10 years

Change is something we can’t calculate

We just have to go with it and chose to change everyday

Regardless of how fast things change…

It’s so funny bcz there’s that unwritten law that everyone comes to when faced with moments of change…. “LET GO OF THE DESTINATION AND FALL IN LOVE WITH THE PROCESS 🙃”

I know, I’m eye rolling too 😂🙄🤣🤣🤣

And here I am today at 33 yr old version of Fabiola looking, seeing and feeling mid 20 version of a Fabiola, wow

I’m so happy for the incredible life I’ve built for myself

I’m also so proud of finding that TINY ounce to ask for help

Sometimes we can be lost and don’t know what our next steps are 🤷‍♀️

That’s totally ok

Sometimes the best thing you can do for yourself is to ask for help

I don’t think my life would be the way it is now had I not seeked out support

Something that comes to mind too with all of this, is that with trauma, of course it’s not our fault on what happened to us, or even the abusers really

I’m hearing my lead coach trainer Leslie “Well what happened to them?”

The only person who can SEEK help is us

Otherwise, we’re just replaying and sometimes reliving everything in our head

Of course there are moments where reminisce of my past pops up….

But my continual conscious effort to do the work, love myself, change my inner narrative OVER AND OVER again, trumps it all. PERIOD

In so much tears bcz this has been such a long process and it felt nice to see myself smile and speak with confidence today with my therapist VS. that old scared Fabiola

I truly am a different person now and so grateful! It wasn’t something that happened overnight but I’m so glad that I’ve not given up on me and that I continue to strive for more everyday

Something else incredible happened today too….🥲

I will have to save that for another time, going to savor in this beautiful moment of tears and joy

I’m excited to keep sharing more and more with you!

I’m in such a beautiful space where all of the change is L A N D I N G 💫✨ ; and it feels f*cking amazing

Entrepreneurship can seem scary

Coming up with ideas is the easy part 😂😮‍💨

What comes next is what will determine if you’ll finish ze whole dam equation

Creation is only one part. After the excitement comes….

You getting through the flood of thoughts that say:

Can I do this?
How will I do this?
Where do I start?
Let me get ALL OF THE RESOURCES (information overload) for the best plan for success!
Let me wait until I have “my ducks in a row”
What if my friends think my idea is stupid
What if I get judged by family?

etc. etc.

Basicallyyyyy most people talk themselves into either A. waiting until “everything is perfect” very S L O W process; or B. giving up on ze whole idea

Today we had our 5th call inside Divina Diosa and it was so beautiful and deep 💕

This 6 month container has truly changed my heart, I am forever grateful for this work ✨🙏✨

As I sit here, 5 months in, looking back to the me who had this idea earlier in the year, I’m so dam happy I didn’t “sleep on this idea”.

I’m so glad I’m not sitting here today thinking, man, I wonder what it would’ve been like to bring this program to the world?

Tbh, there’s been too many times where I’ve done that and honestly, got so bored w my bs 🤣

So grateful I took a chance and created this beautiful container!

Rather than thinking of a great idea and then doubting the success or trying to have the full “how” step by step process laid out in front —> to then eventually letting the idea fizzle out and 6 months later thinking, man, I should’ve created this program or ________.

This absolutely applies to everything in life 🙏 If you feel the nudge, take action and the rest will follow!

I had no idea what the process for Divina Diosa would look like 🤷‍♀️ nor did I have an exact step by step blueprint on how it’d go in these past 5 months. Everything showed up and I am so grateful!!
