Welcome back to my NFL Week 4 Recap!
This week was all about bold predictions, close calls, and a few surprises that shook up my expectations. I took some risks with my picks, and while some paid off, others... not so much. But that's the thrill of the game!
Games Covered:
- Giants vs. Cowboys: I boldly predicted a Giants win at 29-22, but the Cowboys pulled off a 20-15 victory. I'll break down where my prediction went off the rails.
- Saints vs. Falcons: Expected the Saints to bounce back with a 30-27 win, but the Falcons edged them out 26-24. A nail-biter that could've gone either way!
- Rams vs. Bears: Predicted the Bears would win 28-24, and they came through with a 24-18 victory. Let's dive into how they secured the win.
- Vikings vs. Packers: Called a Vikings win at 34-30; they won 31-29. Not too far off!
- Steelers vs. Colts: Expected the Colts to win 27-19, and they did win 27-24. Surprised by the Steelers' offense putting up 24 points.
- Broncos vs. Jets: Predicted a close 21-20 win for the Broncos; they won 10-9. Defense dominated this matchup.
- Eagles vs. Buccaneers: Thought the Eagles would soar, but they fell short. What's happening with Jalen Hurts and the Eagles' offense?
- Bengals vs. Panthers: Predicted a Bengals win, and they delivered with a 34-24 victory.
- Jaguars vs. Texans: Called the Texans to win 34-14; they won 24-20. Texans showing promise!
- Commanders vs. Cardinals: Predicted a high-scoring game favoring the Cardinals 40-38, but they didn't show up, losing badly. What's up with Kyler Murray?
- Patriots vs. 49ers: Went for an upset with the Patriots winning 15-12, but the 49ers dominated 30-13. An eye-opener for sure.
- Browns vs. Raiders: Expected the Browns to take it 24-17, but the Raiders won 20-16. Breaking down where the Browns fell short.
- Chargers vs. Chiefs: Predicted the Chargers to put up 30 points and win, but they lost and only scored 10. Are the Chargers in trouble?
- Bills vs. Ravens: Thought the Bills would win 25-24, but the Ravens stunned us with a 35-10 victory. Discussing the Ravens' game plan shift.
- Titans vs. Dolphins: Got this one right! Predicted a Titans win at 20-13, and they exceeded that with a 31-12 score.
- Seahawks vs. Lions: Expected the Seahawks to win 24-21, but the Lions roared with a 42-24 victory. Analyzing the Seahawks' defensive struggles.
My Week 4 Record: 7 out of 16 predictions correct. Not my best week, but the bold predictions made it exciting!
