First couple days in Canada have been fantastic. Some big fish, a bunch of great eaters and jumbo perch are hard to beat. We have been doing best for eaters in 12-22ft throwing a jig and minnow or plastic. Big fish have come shallower than 7 or in 24+ ft of water.

Had an evening to go and explore a new lake in the longville area. Started scanning around and immediately found a bunch of nice gills. Went to chase crappie for the rest of the evening and stumbled into a bunch of nice walleyes!

I got to fish in the Take a Vet fishing tournament out of landing lodge on leech lake. I took out Connor and Derek. We had a great time, got to set the hook and share good memories. This is an awesome tournament and I would encourage others to participate next year!
