Twenty five years ago I became a mom.

I had no idea that the greatest journey of my life wouldn’t just be raising four boys - it would be the woman I’d have to become to do it.

Watching Aidan cross that stage yesterday reminded me of every moment I wanted to shrink, every time I had to choose to come back to myself, every season that asked more of me than I thought I had.

You don’t just pour into them. You grow too.

What a journey…
