🌿 Behind the Circle

When Sasha and I began dreaming up this Death-Positive Community Circle, we envisioned a space where people could gather to explore mortality and what it means to be fully human.

As we continued planning, our vision shifted in a few unexpected ways. Looking back, I'm so grateful it did.

This little community circle is already coming to life through so much love, generosity, and the support of some pretty kick-ass women. 💛

When I reached out to my friend Maria to see if she'd be interested in being part of this little dream, she didn't hesitate. She generously opened the doors to her beautiful studio and offered to weave live healing sound throughout our gathering.

Then there's my friend Ivette. Long before there was ever a flyer, she told me she wanted to support these circles. True to her word, she's generously donating fresh-baked treats from her new bakery, Sansur Bakes.

Y'all are in for a treat...pun absolutely intended. 🍪

Over the next couple of weeks, I'll be introducing you to each of these incredible women because they deserve to be celebrated.

I first read this question in my Coaching for Transformation book, and I’ve come back to it often since becoming an entrepreneur.

For me, there’s something about it that evokes integrity, courage, and thought provoking rebellion. (I'm an Aquarius after all. :))

Nonetheless, it reminds me to pause and ask whether I’m truly living in alignment with what matters most.

I’m excited to share a professional update that feels like a meaningful next step in the work I’m building at Polaris Coaching & Consulting.

Alongside my ICF-aligned coaching practice (rooted in Internal Family Systems, somatic awareness, and astrology-based self-inquiry) I’m now aligning my work with the Medi-Cal Peer Support Specialist credential.

This pathway recognizes the power of lived experience as a source of leadership, healing, and community care. It also deepens my commitment to showing up in ways that are trauma-informed, culturally grounded, and accessible to the communities I care about most.🪷
