05/20/2026
Our summer expectations are as follows:
1. We cannot make summer mandatory but it is expected that you are in attendance if you plan on participating on the 2026 football team.
2. We encourage you to go on vacations, participate in summer baseball/basketball/wrestling camps, 4H Camp, or any other summer event in June.
3. July is our biggest month for both training and installation of scheme and it is very important that you do everything in your power to be in attendance.
4. The Lifting and Speed School days will be two hours in length with a focus on strength, linear/lateral speed, and restoration sessions.
5. Our Camp days will feature lifting and Speed School the first two hours, 30 minute install meeting, and conclude with a 90 minute on the field practice. We put a massive emphasis on mental and physical training, while practice for us is never more than 90 minutes.
The why behind this summer schedule is that it creates the opportunity to become the most prepared and complete team we can become. It also creates the opportunity for our players to maximize their performance, and develop skills that will translate quickly once they get to the high school level. Lastly, our process will develop a 7th and 8th grade class that will be unified through shared experiences that will stick together until their senior year which is how we build a complete program and avoid a generic collection of teams.
