Baseball has always been about so much more than what happens between the foul lines. As coaches, we quickly realize that the wins and losses are only a small part of what this game gives our kids. Itโs about the families who become like family, the friendships they build, the lessons they learn, the memories they make, and watching these young men grow both on and off the field.
This group of 8U Trash Pandas battled all season long. They faced adversity, learned from the tough moments, celebrated the good ones, and most importantly, they never gave up on each other.
We wrapped up the season as Silver Bracket Runner-Up at Shipyard Park in Charleston, but we couldnโt be more proud of what these boys accomplished this season. The growth from the first practice to the final out has been incredible to watch.
To our players, thank you for trusting your coaches, playing for each other, and giving us everything you had. To the families, thank you for the countless hours, long drives, early mornings, late nights, and unwavering support. None of this happens without you.
The trophies will eventually collect dust, and the scoreboards will be forgotten, but the friendships, memories, and lessons these boys take from this season will stay with them forever.
