It’s that time of the year! Time to start thinking about elementary archery!

If you have a 4th or 5th grade elementary student who is enrolled at Locust Grove Upper Elementary and is interested in giving archery a try, please come to this meeting! If you are unable to attend and have a student who is interested, please contact coach Lyndsey.

Great people down at Big Daddy’s! Roy, Peggy, Josh and all others involved have been some of our biggest supporters over the years. Thank you for investing in our program and thank you for investing in kids!

Today we had the honor of donating a total of $10,000 to Operation Freedom Outdoors and Locust Grove Pirate Archery Program . This money wras raised during our Customer Aprpreciation Day, Auction, and donations. We also drew for the Winner of the Finwick Rod and Reel combo. Thank you to everyone who supports us through out the year.

Special post for our biggest fans!!!! Thank you, families for traveling almost 1,200 miles so your archer could compete. Some parents even doubled up on kiddos so they’d be able to compete! And we were blessed for so many families to travel with us over 1,200 miles to Nationals in Sandy, Utah! We are so thankful for your willingness to support this program in all the ways that you do.

2026 NASP Open-Daytona Beach, Florida🏹🏝️

We have never competed as a team at the Open. This year, there were enough high schoolers that went for LGHS to have a 3D team. That team made the podium placing 3rd in 3D with a score of 1,727! In bullseye. We didn’t have enough archers to make a team, but we had two individual placers! Lakin Quinn placed 4th with a score of 293. Carson Morehead placed 5th with a score of 294. In the elementary division, Amelia Maher finished in the top ten in both tournaments. She was 9th in 3D with a 269 and 10th in bullseye with a 272.

We are so very proud of all our archers!❤️

Final day of shooting today at the NASP Open!
Elementary and high school shoot 3D at 11am. Middle school shoots at 12:15pm. High school shoots bullseye at 2:45pm and middle school shoots 3D at 2:45pm! Awards will follow after the 2:45pm flights!

Elementary shoots bullseye today at 1:30 eastern time! They will shoot 3D on Saturday, along with everyone else shooting both bullseye and 3D!
