Dino Neglia 6-0 and Greyson Brown 4-2 in freestyle!! Excellent job boys!

After dropping a pair of heartbreakers by a combined margin of 3pts on Thursday during pool-play; Empire Blue came on strong during the colored bracket (Teal) portion of the festivities; winning three straight duals before ultimately settling for runner-up status following a loss to Florida Blue in their encore appearance!

11 different team members posting .500 or better individual resumes; a testament to the firepower possessed by this line-up can be found in the fact that FIVE gentleman---Daniel Magnani, Lincoln Brower, JJ Sullivan, Matthew Simonton, and Marcarlo Mannello all garnered All-Tournament distinction by banking unblemished 6-0 bodies of work!!

For Brower, Sullivan, and Mannello (all 14-0 between the two international styles); they head home to NY as DOUBLE ALL-TOURNEY honorees, having previously been recognized in GR earlier in the week!

Magnani and Simonton each capped off respective 13-1 vitae (just missed GR All-Tournament by going 7-1)!

Dino Neglia would be the star of stars for the Gold contingent, as he joined the already cited "BLUE quintet" in also securing his spot on the All-Tournament squad!!!

📣 PSA: Revolution Elite Wrestling Club is excited to announce that Colin Heffernan has been named our new High School Coach!

Colin brings an outstanding wrestling and coaching background to Revolution Elite. A graduate of St. Edward High School (OH), he went on to compete at Central Michigan University, where he qualified for three NCAA Division I Championships.

Following his competitive career, Colin continued in the sport as a Division I coach at both Central Michigan University and Ohio University, helping develop wrestlers at the highest collegiate level.

We are extremely excited to have Colin leading our high school program and helping take Revolution Elite to the next level. Please join us in welcoming Coach Heffernan to the Revolution Elite family!

Greco is complete 4-2 so far for both Greyson Brown and Dino Neglia!

Anchored by "All-Tournament"/unblemished individual heroics courtesy of Lincoln Brower, JJ Sullivan, and Marcarlo Mannello; the Evil Empire would split their eight total duals (4-4) between yesterday and today to place 5th in both their day #1 pool and in the colored championship bracket format!!

A testament to the overall talent comprised by this roster; not overlooked is the fact that nine separate competitors boasted a .500 or better individual vitae; with Daniel Magnani and Matthew Simonton just missing perfection via a single loss!!

Rising to the occasion in their victories yesterday against Louisiana and Indiana....

Against the former, it was Declan Mueller earning a 1:32 stick in the final bout to preserve a then 33-32 lead (38-32 verdict)!

Versus the "Hoosiers", they'd battle back from a 28-4 deficit after seven bouts to peel off 10 STRAIGHT WINS from 84-132 pounds!!

Shifting gears to the colored championship bracket; it would be clutch decision dubs in toss-up clashes by Brower Nick Hobson that was instrumental in enabling New York to jump out to a 37-11 edge over Oregon before withstanding a late rally to hang on for the a 38-38 criteria win!

Getting their arms raised in eight of the first 11 bouts in their GR encore versus Utah to establish a 35-14 lead; it would be a Magnani pin (Utah had cut the score to 35-26) and a Brower TF (40-33 score prior) down the homestretch that iced the "W"

Sullivan (9-0 in Greco as part of an 18-0 combined record in '25) & Mannello (8-0 in Greco as part of a 17-1 overall body of work in '25) are now both repeat All-Tournament honorees in the discipline!
