A crew headed to camp for our July work weekend. Fighting the storms and an unexpected step project all our projects were completed and even time for a few cold ones and afternoon naps.

An awesome day for one of our current members honoring one of our past members.

Past member Herbie Berger passed after dedicating his entire life to being a firefighter. Herbie was on the PA Task Force that responded into New York City on September 11 for the World Trade Center attacks.

Sunday Herbie was honored at the National Fallen Firefighter Memorial. Herbie's wife Susan Berger was escorted by member Ryan Johns. Ryan is currently a firefighter in Harrisonburg Va.

Ryan was extremely honored to do this and it was an honor to have a current member of the club to be able to honor Herbie. Great job Ryan.

April work weekend brought members to camp to get a special project completed. A short back story. Our Past President Cork had always wanted an area for the kids to play while they were at the cabin. After his passing in 2024 we decided to do something and we finally pulled the trigger to get it done.

We took on the task of making an area for the kids to play and the adults to relax.

We hope we made Cork proud with the area.

Wood frenzy weekend. Trip to cabin to cut firewood for the upcoming cold season. We are all old and like to be warm. Thanks to all members and guests.

The Never Hit family grew this weekend. Congratulations to Jim and Jayne Emerich Murphy on the birth of their first grandchild. Hudson Cole Murphy joined the world and he will be ready for hunting camp this upcoming year. Congrats to Jim Murphy and Caitlyn Murphy on the birth of the next generation of a Never Hit hunter.
