What silk fiber and a cowgirl have in common.

At first glance, they couldn't be more different. One is the most delicate fiber in the world, floating like mist on your skin. The other is dust on her boots, wind in her hair, hands that know how to mend fence and deliver a kid in the middle of the night.
But look closer.

Both are stronger than they look.
Silk is, ounce for ounce, stronger than steel. A single filament can hold unimaginable tension without breaking. A cowgirl is the same. She is soft-spoken, she will laugh and offer you coffee, but she will not break. O, heartbreak, long winters, hard markets — she holds.
