SILK is the preferred fabric for Wild Rags because it is a natural fiber with properties of strength, absorbency, beauty and a luxurious hand.

Many Wild Rags sold as “Silk or Satin Charmeuse” are polyester and although beautiful this fabric doesn’t have the important properties of pure mulberry silk that are sought after by those who know.

The price of 100% mulberry silk has gone up exponentially over the last year. Blanks (white hemmed scarves) in cowboy sizes that I hand dye, eco-print or hand paint are no longer $23-26 rather they are $38 to $42 each. To buy bolts of this silk and sew them myself is $1000’s and a huge investment.

Take advantage of the sale I am having. My plan is to design many many more and they won’t be on sale!

My stock is getting low but I have some beautiful silks … you don’t have to be a cowboy to wear them .. they are “all the rage” these days!
