🏀 Head Varsity Boys Basketball Coach

Doyle High School is seeking a dynamic, dedicated leader to serve as our Head Varsity Boys Basketball Coach. We are looking for someone who is passionate about building a competitive program while developing student-athletes both on and off the court.

Key Responsibilities & Qualities:
✔️ Demonstrates strong leadership, integrity, and professionalism
✔️ Builds a positive, disciplined, and team-first culture
✔️ Develops student-athletes through skill instruction, strength/conditioning, and game strategy
✔️ Aligns athletic expectations with academic excellence and character development
✔️ Promotes accountability, sportsmanship, and respect for the game
✔️ Effectively communicates with players, parents, staff, and the community
✔️ Organizes and oversees offseason programs, camps, and feeder system development
✔️ Maintains compliance with all school and LHSAA guidelines

One of the best boys basketball teams to ever come out of Livingston — your 2025–2026 Doyle Tigers.

While the season didn’t end the way we hoped, it will never take away from what this team accomplished. District 8-3A undefeated champions. Undefeated at home during the regular season. A 26–6 overall record. A Top 4 seed in the Division III Non-Select State Tournament. And a hard-fought quarterfinal playoff run.

To our seniors — thank you for everything you gave to this program. Hold your heads high. We are incredibly proud of you and can’t wait to see what your future holds.

And to our amazing fans — thank you for showing up game after game and for packing the gym tonight with hardly an empty seat left. Your support means everything to these players and this program.

Come pack the gym and support these boys as they battle for a chance to punch their ticket to the state tournament in Lake Charles — something that hasn’t happened since the early ’90s.
