My older brother Paul proudly served in the US Navy & was stationed in Beirut Lebanon on a peacekeeping mission under president Reagan Paul was in a 3 story building & gave his room up for a marine that marine died from a Hezbollah truck bomber the next morning at 6:30am October 23, 1983 along with 219 other marines from the 1st battalion, 8th marine battalion & 2 dozen other US service members. The survivors along with my brother dug out the blown up remains of our heroic marines & it changed him forever for the worse seeing those blown up bodies. Now Paul is fighting for his own life battling lymphoma @ St Barnabas for over 3 weeks.
A little about my genios brother Paul
He learned how to read & write music, writing & singing songs on base guitar (he loved the Beatles) he learned how to read & write Hebrew & became a messianic Rabbi in Syracuse NY Paul was with sonar telecommunications between the Navy & Marines.
