🏁 2026 SEASON RECAP – CHRIS KESH RACING #72 🏁
What a year it has been for our team!
As the 2026 racing season comes to a close, we want to take a moment to reflect on what has been an exciting year of learning, growth, challenges, and accomplishments for 16-year-old rookie driver Chris Keshishian and the entire Chris Kesh Racing team.
We started the season competing in the Wingless Super Sportsman division, giving Chris his first taste of racing a full-size sprint car. Coming into this season, we knew there would be a learning curve, but our main goal was simple: gain experience, build confidence, and continue developing Chris as a driver.
Midway through the season, we made the decision to take on an even bigger challenge by moving into the Winged Super Sportsman division at BAPS Motor Speedway. This was a major step for Chris, learning how to handle the added speed, downforce, and competition that comes with winged sprint car racing.
One of the biggest highlights of our season was getting the opportunity to race at the legendary Williams Grove Speedway for the very first time! Being able to turn laps at a track with so much history was an incredible experience for Chris and our entire team.
Throughout the season, we continued to make progress, with Chris earning a season-best 10th-place finish at Williams Grove Speedway! While we know there is still plenty of room for improvement, we are proud of the progress he has made in his rookie season.
Racing isn’t always about where you finish. Sometimes it’s about the experience you gain, the challenges you overcome, and the determination to keep getting better. At just 16 years old, Chris has a lot of racing ahead of him, and we are excited to see what the future holds.
🔧 LOOKING AHEAD TO 2027 🔧
The offseason won’t be much of a vacation for our team! We have several upgrades planned for the #72 car over the winter, and we will continue working with Chris to develop his driving skills, confidence, racecraft, and ability to compete in traffic.
Our goal for 2027 is to come back stronger, faster, and more competitive as we continue building our program in the Winged Super Sportsman division.
Most importantly, we want to send a huge THANK YOU to everyone who has supported us throughout this first season. To our sponsors, family, friends, crew members, fellow racers, and everyone who has followed along and cheered us on — we truly appreciate every bit of support.
None of this would be possible without the people who stand behind our team.
2026 was about learning and gaining experience. 2027 will be about taking that experience and turning it into results!
