We are a week away from Paddle Battle 2026. For those of you that signed up to play in this epic event, the check in time is between 8:00 and 8:30 at the West Side courts in Little Falls. the location can be found on Google Maps. After checking in, you can warm up. Team photos are scheduled for around 8:40, with tournament instructions to follow. We hope to start playing at or before 9 a.m.. We will take a break at around 11:30 for a light lunch. The food has been generously donated by our platinum sponsor, Pine Country Bank. A big thank you to them! We hope to have the tournament wrapped up by around 1:30. Hopefully, it will be a warm and sunny day, but in the event of really bad weather, our back up day is the next day (Sunday). Players are encouraged to bring plenty of water to stay hydrated during the event. Spectators are welcome to come and cheer. We recommend bringing your own chair.

The Paddle Battle 2026 is a little over a week away, but the battle of words has already started between the Sharks and the Jets.

The leaders of the Jets issued this press release: "We are going to cancel Shark Week this year. At the Paddle Battle we plan to drown those Sharks in a pool of their own tears."

In response, the leaders of the Sharks issued their own press release: "Tough talk from those punks on the Jets. The Jets better have ejection seats. They should re-name their team the Titanic, because they are going to crash and burn at the Paddle Battle next week."

Fortunately, Officer Krupke will be there to maintain the peace between these bitter rivals on Saturday, June 27th at the West Side pickleball courts in Little Falls. Which pickleball gang is all talk? And which one will back up their words on the court? You are invited to come and find out. Don't miss THE GREATEST PICKLEBALL EVENT in Little Falls history!

We are only three weeks away from the GREATEST PICKLEBALL EVENT in Little Falls History: Paddle Battle 2026!

Here is the Story:

On June 27th, on the West Side of Little Falls, two rival pickleball gangs, the Sharks and the Jets, will battle for bragging rights on the new pickleball courts in Little Falls. Be there to witness this epic event!

On Saturday, June 27, 2026, the GREATEST PICKLEBALL EVENT IN LITTLE FALLS HISTORY is scheduled to take place: PADDLE BADDLE 2026.

Question: Do I sign up with a partner? Answer: No. You sign up as an individual, and then you will be drafted to play for one of two teams. You compete as a member of a team, earning points for your team.

Question: Can anyone play in this event? Answer: We ask that everyone that signs up be 18 years of age or older. We also ask that, if you sign up as a beginner, that you know the rules of the game, understand basic strategy, and have at least a few games under your belt.

Question: Who will I play with? Answer: Prior to the tournament the co-captains will draft players for their teams with an eye towards making the two teams roughly equal in terms of skill and experience. You will be notified in advance of your team assignment. On the day of the event you will be assigned to compete against members of the other team at a similar skill level.

It is membership season for the Little Falls Pickleball Association. If you signed up for a one year membership last year, then it is time to renew. If you enjoy playing pickleball in the Little Falls area, then please consider becoming a member. Just scan the QR code below, which brings you to our LFPA website, where you can sign up. The cost of membership is only $25. We intentionally set the price low in order to encourage as many people as possible to join our organization.

Reminder: The Little Falls Pickleball Association annual membership meeting is this coming Saturday, May 2nd, at 1 PM. The meeting is at the Initiative Foundation in Little Falls. If you are a member of the association, please come join us!
