The Lichtfield Golf program would like to thank the Litchfield Sports Boosters, Elite Roofing, and other friends of the program for their generous donations to our program. The funds were used to buy a launch monitor and indoor hitting bay so that our golfers can continue to improve throughout the winter months.

We would like to congratulate Sam Schwab on advancing to the State Golf Tournament. It has been a very exciting season and all the Panther Golfers worked extremely hard and have been a pleasure to coach.

We would like to congratulate Faith Ellinger on a job well done for her junior year golf season. Today Faith traveled to The Links in Jacksonville and played a great game and had a beautiful day to do so. She finishes her season with a 97. She had an ultimate goal to advance to sectionals this year and she did just that. Congratulations, Faith! We look forward to seeing you on the course for your senior year. 💜🤍⛳️

This young lady qualified for sectionals on Tuesday. Faith has put in the time and effort and reached her goal of making it out of Regionals. Let's go for State!!!

The Boys golf team competed in Regionals at Govenors Run in Carlyle Illinois. The boys were led by 2 outstanding performances by seniors Tucker Maguire and Sam Schwab. Both boys shot 71 and tied for 1st place. Then after a playoff Sam was able to capture 1st place overall. The team did advance to sectionals taking 3rd place. Sectionals will be next Monday at Effingham Country Club.

Last Tuesday the Golf program had the privilege of celebrating a wonderful young lady who is new to the golf program this year. Melody has been a great addition and has worked extremely hard to improve her game. We wish nothing but the best in all your future endeavors and hope you will continue playing the game of golf.

The Boys and Girls teams competed at the SCC Conference golf match today. The Boys team took 3rd and the Girls team took 2nd. The Boys All-Conference golfer on the day was Sam Schwab who took 3rd after a scorecard playoff. The Girls had 2 All-Conference golfers. Faith Ellinger took 4th and Emma Weidner tied for 6th.
