Litchfields 12U Americans Victorious Over Bunker Hill Valenti 12u

12U Americans took down Bunker Hill Valenti 12u 10-9 on Tuesday at Schalk Baseball Fields.
Bunker Hill Valenti 12u opened the scoring in the first after an error scored one run.
Bunker Hill Valenti 12u added one run in the second after Cj H grounded into a fielder's choice.
Bunker Hill Valenti 12u added one run in the third after Keegan L grounded into a fielder's choice.
12U Americans tied the game up in the bottom of the fourth thanks to two doubles. 12U Americans tied the game at four on a double by Harlan S.
A ground out by Keegan gave Bunker Hill Valenti 12u the lead, 5-4, in the top of the fifth.
12U Americans took the lead, 8-5, in the bottom of the fifth thanks to doubles by Grayson H, and Mack Y.
Bunker Hill Valenti 12u captured the lead, 9-8, in the top of the sixth after Wyatt B singled to center field, Wyatt V grounded into a fielder's choice, Edward R was struck by a pitch, and Matt A walked, each scoring one run.
Karson M walked, which helped 12U Americans tie the game at nine in the bottom of the sixth.
Mack earned the win for 12U Americans. The hurler allowed six hits and five runs over two innings, striking out three and walking two. Baylor L led things off on the mound for 12U Americans. The hurler surrendered two hits and three runs over three innings, striking out five and walking four. Wyatt stepped on the bump first for Bunker Hill Valenti 12u. The starting pitcher surrendered one hit and one run over three innings, striking out eight and walking one. Wil P appeared in relief for 12U Americans.
