RACE UPDATE - LAUGHLIN DESERT CLASSIC
Not the weekend we had planned, but we weren't going down without a fight.
DAY 1: Just 5 miles from the finish, our power steering reservoir broke off, damaging the cam sensor plug and bringing Ol’ Blue to a stop. Back to the pits, back to work, and we had her ready for another battle on Day 2.
DAY 2: We were running 4th until a flat tire took out our rear shock. With a wounded car, we had to back off the pace, but we kept pushing all the way to the checkered flag.
8TH OVERALL FOR THE WEEKEND.
Definitely not the result we came for, but that's racing. Sometimes it's about how you fight through the challenges and make it to the finish.
A huge congratulations to on P1, on P2 and securing the championship, and on P3! Well-deserved results, and it's been great racing alongside all of you this year!
A massive thank you to our sponsors, crew, family, friends, and everyone who continues to support Ride Off Racing.
As for us, we're sitting 2nd in the SADR championship standings, with our sights already set on the Cholla 250 this December.
One more battle ahead. Ol’ Blue isn't done yet.
