Excelsior Empire Regional Volleyball Association

Excelsior’s mission is to administer USAV Regional programs and to promote volleyball as a lifetime activity.

At Excelsior, we believe in the power of volleyball to build character, community, and lifelong wellness, and we strive to be a cornerstone in that journey for all who share our passion. We define success in carrying through this mission by the following:

• Competitive teams that are active in all age and gender groups, across all levels of play
• Tournaments, coaches and officials of the highest quality
• The organization and its members are respected by parents, administrators, and coaches of school and college athletic programs
• The organization is respected by and has the active involvement of its members, coaches and officials
• The organization and its members are a source of information and support for volleyball activities for non-USAV organizations
• The organization is financially and operationally stable

Consistent with that Mission Statement and USAV goals, Excelsior operates programs including adult competition, juniors competition, juniors high performance, referees development and coaches development. Excelsior goals include addition of programs for beach / outdoor, colleges, player development, and outreach to other (non-USAV) local volleyball programs.

Athletes interested in applying should complete the application themselves, with parents, guardians, or other adults welcome to assist throughout the process.

We are proud to announce that applications are now OPEN for our 2026–2027 Membership Scholarship Program!

Every athlete deserves the opportunity to play, and this program helps ensure financial barriers don’t stand in the way. Scholarship recipients may receive assistance covering the cost of their USAV membership.

✨ What you need to know:
• 📅 Applications are reviewed in rounds, with the first review beginning August 15
• 📝 Athletes must apply with the knowledge and approval of their club director
• ⏳ We encourage eligible athletes and families to apply as early as possible

Closing out the All-Star Championships with our 19U Boys⭐️

An incredible experience from start to finish. These athletes battled, grew, and represented the Excelsior Region with pride all tournament long. Finished in the National Silver Bracket and left it all on the court. Proud of this group! 🔥
